dWave Engineering is a Serbian engineering office specializing in outsourcing class and workshop documentation for shipbuilding, including hull construction and outfitting. We also develop custom software tools to streamline engineering work.
Based in Sremska Mitrovica, we collaborate with shipyards and design offices across Europe, delivering precise technical documentation that meets the highest industry standards. Our team combines deep domain expertise with modern engineering practices to ensure every project is completed on time and to specification.
dWave Tools is a Rhino 8 plugin designed to accelerate everyday tasks in shipbuilding design offices. Built on top of Rhinoceros 3D, it inherits Rhino's flexibility and ease of use, and offers over 150 commands that are also useful outside of shipbuilding.
The plugin is workflow-agnostic: most commands can be used independently, allowing you to complement your existing processes without having to adapt to a rigid workflow. dWave Tools works seamlessly with both imported and natively created 3D models.
Quick creation of plate and profile parts, flanges and faceplates, standard and flanged brackets, scallops, water/air holes, profile cutouts, and section creation.
Calculate weight and center of gravity with Excel reporting, assign part IDs (identical parts share the same ID), and generate part lists.
Generate 2D views and sections, create isometric views, automatically create all 6 standard views, extract plate parts for cutting, and create 2D profile sketches.
Remapping tools, layer management, text utilities, search tools, and calculation tools.
